Engineering for Agriculture & Agribusiness
Modern agriculture depends on reliable power, water management, equipment and increasingly automated processes. Helena works across the electrical and technical systems that support agricultural production.

Agricultural operations must work within conditions that are often less predictable than those of a conventional building. Equipment may be exposed to moisture, dust, heat, fluctuating power supply and remote operating environments, while irrigation and other essential processes must run according to seasonal, environmental and production requirements. Electrical faults or poorly coordinated equipment can interrupt operations, damage machinery or affect production.
Agricultural installations may require particular consideration of water ingress, dust, corrosion, earthing, electrical protection and the environmental suitability of enclosures and equipment. Pumping and irrigation systems must be designed around the required flow, pressure, duty cycle and available power supply. Where automation is introduced, controls should account for sensor reliability, operating limits, manual intervention and safe responses to faults. Applicable electrical installation requirements, water-management rules and agricultural safety standards should be established for each project and location.
