Automation & Industrial Systems
Industrial control, PLC programming, control panel development and automation integration for processes and equipment. We work towards making operations more consistent, observable and manageable.
ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT
Embedded hardware and electronics development for devices that sense, process and interact with the physical world. Our developing work spans microcontrollers, circuit design, PCB development and hardware prototyping.

Embedded systems bring computation into physical products, instruments and machines. They combine electronic hardware, firmware, sensors and interfaces to perform a defined task under real-world conditions. Helena Technologies is developing an electronics engineering practice focused on custom hardware, microcontroller-based systems and the process of translating technical concepts into working prototypes. This work provides a foundation for applications that connect sensing, computation and physical systems.
Hardware development involves more than producing a circuit that works once. Power requirements, component availability, electrical interfaces, signal integrity, environmental conditions, firmware behaviour and the practicalities of testing all influence the final design. Early prototypes are useful for validating assumptions, but they do not automatically establish that a device is ready for reliable production or deployment.
Our intended approach is to develop systems incrementally: define the problem, establish functional requirements, select an appropriate architecture, prototype the hardware and firmware, and test the result against the intended use. The scope of each project will reflect the maturity of the design and the engineering resources available.

Software development and digital tools for practical applications, technical workflows and connected systems. Our work combines software engineering with an interest in how digital solutions interact with the physical world.

Smart building installations, CCTV, alarms, access control and connected infrastructure for homes, commercial premises and other facilities. We bring together the devices and systems that help people monitor and manage their environments.

A remote water-tank monitoring system developed to measure water levels, transmit readings over a wireless connection, and provide visibility into tank status without requiring someone to inspect the installation manually.

An electrical energy-monitoring prototype developed to measure consumption across individual circuits, distinguish the loads contributing to total electricity use, and present the measurements through a central dashboard.

An industrial data-integration prototype developed to collect measurements from a Modbus-enabled device and present them through a centralized dashboard.
